From my point of view I think NOT doing Nurbs modelling for "hard" objects is such a waste of time and effort. And MoI is spectacularly good and easy to learn. Brian

You are repeating suggestions I made many months ago. I am STILL not up to properly using 3DC yet because I am too old to put up with bugs. It's a dissapointment as I was the 3rd person to get the original 3DP Brian -

DX 11 I see magazine articles extolling this upgrade but I can not seem to find it? If anyone knows where to get it, would they also advise it's suitablity in relation to the Cuda 64 bit 3DC version please, Brian -
Some new program parts are inconsequent!

Was I really number 3 owner of 3D Paint originally? I am old so that is my main excuse, but I relly don't use 3DC much. The fast development and extras added, almost daily, is just too much to absorb. 3DC seems to need a stop to "more" and rather a stabilisation and clarity in it's workings. Maybe a big printout "work flow chart"? And tutes/movies grouped only as applicable to that working state? Brian -

http://www.atangeo.com/products Is there anything in this app that 3DC does not allready achieve? Brian

] "Ah the familiar slap of sarcasm.?" So dissapointing that with all the work done by the team, and general owners of 3DC, to prepare and produce all the tutorial stuff to help that, those who can not do the normal everyday normal basics, denegrate those who take time out to direct them. No ones being paid to help you mate. Brian

As Frency Pilou says. MoI is VERY, VERY special in relation to Nurbs---FORGET what you see in those other named "nurbs?" apps efforts (except Rhino) 3DC needs to work with/combine with the real thing nurbs/obj file qualities at a level no less than that of MoI. Brian

Thanks Andrew. It need not be the airplane, Just anyting I guess that most people would consider an ideal subject if it was for Nurbs modelling. Brian

I am seeimg such great "hard" modelling things being done in 3DC that I see a great opportunity to replace my Nurbs modelling preference to be, now, using 3DC. The current "sketch" tool seeming to be ideal maybe?. BUT, if potential, I really need a very slow, comprehensive tutorial. Thus, Brian says HELP! An ideal would be in trying to model this Tiger Moth airplane! Brian

I am awash, drowning!, in Photoshop brushes that I have collected over the years. However a WOW free set made available by Yang, via this site, just asked to be put into 3DC.. http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=59&t=781923 I presume this is what you are all suggesting to do--attachment?
