  1. I checked the scene scale and it was 1. I tried the relief mode but it was displayed as a flat shader. Same for spec/gloss/metallic etc. This is relief mode
  2. Thanks I followed the steps but I am now faced with a new problem where the scale does not match up. Scale is important here as I have to bring it back to zbrush and reproject. Do you know if I missed a step that have caused this?
  3. How do I change the shader of my reference mesh in retopo to something more visible. I do not, for a moment believe anyone actually prefer the default shader when doing retopo.
  4. What exactly does it do? When I select faces/island and click invert hidden, all I see are lines with no faces. So what I'm doing now is -select face -invert -hide Which is annoying but fine since it works. So I haven't yet find a use for this button. May someone enlighten me?
  5. Thanks digman. I hope my "its hard to believe" statement didn't sound whiny. It is more like "I am sure it is there, but I can't find it so lemme ask around." Every software has complaints of not being able to do this or that etc. I tend not to do that anymore after going through several of them.
  6. No one? Hello?....(echo)....(echo)....(echo)....*cold wind blows
  7. Hi, I am having a problem here. I want to perform an overall relax on the retopo mesh but with a handful of vertices excluded. The only way I've found so far is select all vertices and then, unselect the ones I do not want to perform the relax on. I've googled and searched for help and concluded that there are no inverse selection for retopo mode. Or perhaps I've overlooked something? 3DCoat seems like a rather great tool, so it is hard to believe a basic feature as invert selection is omitted. Will someone kindly advice me on this? Also, is there a way to convert selection i.e vertices to edges, edges to face etc. Like Ctrl + F9/F10/F11/F12 in Maya?
