  1. Hello everybody I want to ask , how do i make a selection in retopo mode with Add/Split over a mesh, then convert that selection into extruded voxels on a separate layer. For example in this vis (06:15) You can see those colored graphics which he later converts into voxels on a separate layer, I also have no idea where to find this " merge " tool , can anybody please explain to me how he does it ? Thanks ! Here is the vid : Helmet Sketch
  2. Thanks a lot guys ! You are awesome Definitely gonna try those in my next sculpt.
  3. I asked him , he said he used black shaders , so this this makes this thread useless. Sorry
  4. Hello everybody ! I started with a gumroad from Fuad Quaderi , but im kind of confused . If the way explain it sounds too stupid , please skip it and read the thing bellow my explanation of what he did. To create cutlines he basically goes from the Surface layer mode to the retopo mode and paints with the " Add/Split" brush then to the Retopo menu (next to File, Edit etc.) Remove n-gons , then something with merge brush and "Pick from retopo -> Merge whiteout Voxelising , which created cutlines which cutted wholes on the surface of the mesh and then he converted the surface layer to voxels and continued making cutlines which basically made wholes on the surface of the mesh whiteout cutting the back side of the mesh. Basically my question is , can you please explain to me what he did because although i took notes i still didn't understood it and might skipped something. If you can't , can you please give me an alternative of making cutlines into the mesh where i make holes on the surface of a mesh whiteout damaging the back side of it . I uploaded the picture of the model he is making bellow. I believe he does it for better readability in Keyshot. Thank you !
