  1. version 2023.06 3dCoat forget that I deleted shortcut key 'T' from Brush window. Can't set T as transform tool hotkey, can't set Q as transform tool hotkey every key reverst to default after the first usage as assigned to non-default tools.
  2. alt+S directly doesn't work on select tool nor on move tool, but I used alt +S on retopo Strokes tool: it worked, and it also removed steady strokes from select and move tool. so the problem looks like if I apply steady stroke on Strokes tool, it also applies it to other tools, even if there's no option to turn off steady strokes just through Strokes tool
  3. select tool in retopo room uses useless steady stroke and cannot turn it off. there is no option to turn it off. move tool also uses steady stroke. I don't know how this happened. 2023-01-02_14h12_55.mp4
  4. But Transform tool doesn't save selection mode settings, always revert to the default rectangular selection. This is still an existing problem in the newest version!

  6. No, I love retopo tools, and it is my curiosity to use it for modeling for a long time now. It is just a temporary fall back for solving this problem otherways. I use add/split in this case only as a weld tool to weld pre-existing vertices, I could do it with move tool. To get to a proportionally correct hard surface low poly for the numberplate I used modeling tools. I've added the number circles with boolean and tried to refine geometry before projecting it to the curved surface of the sculpt mesh with selecting all of the faces and using relax tool with snap turned on, to shrinkwrap the geometry onto the sculpted object. In lots of cases it is a viable hardsurface workflow that leads me to a nice proportionally correct mesh. The other option would have been to create a 'fake' plate to snap, with sculpt room import tool (without voxelization as surface object) what is identical with the retopo mesh, and could catch/grasp snapping vertices.
  7. Yes, there is a hidden sculpt object for further modeling reference. and lots of other unrelated hidden objects. it is the numberplate of a vintage phone. snapping is turned off for that reason
  8. retopo room add/split tool messes up unseen parts of geometry - causing chaos 2022-07-27_21h09_29.mp4 no symmetry no snapping active, just plain chaos.
  9. Edges to curves tool Create curves automatically on selected edges. (to use it with modeling tools such as surface swept, loft surface)
  10. 2022.34 version and quad tool still cause the same bug + the viewport changes and starts flashing.
