  1. Hey it works now that method. I tried previously having all the uvs in the 0-1 space but I never had the "Import tiles as UV sets" option enabled. Thanks a lot for all the help guys, it was a newbie error on my end after all. Everything seems to be working fine now
  2. I'm still having the same problem unfortunately when I apply material before exporting. It appears to work ok when I export the frame and the door as separate objects. I'll keep trying
  3. Btw I've used "lock normals" and "unlock normals" within maya 2016 and exported as obj again, and in both cases it no longer causes issues. Door_lockednormals.obj Door_unlockednormals.obj Actually just tried with it combine still happening, i'll just leave it for now and move on
  4. Hey thanks for your help man much appreciated, hopefully they'll find a fix for it soon
  5. Here they are Door.obj DoubleDoor_Frame.obj DoubleDoor_Frame_uvslayered.obj DoubleDoor_Combined.obj
  6. No I'm going through New --> Paint UV Mapped Mesh --> File --> Change size there I'm noticing that it's only occurring a particular part of my model which are the doors, not the frame. I've also tried Importing the door as a separate mesh to the door frame, and again its only happening on the door. I've tried various texture sizes and it seems to only be happening on a 2k texture, even 4k size works fine. Here are some images to clarify. ps please note the size of the door itself in respect to the grid, when I import it it appears to be larger than intended? All these imports are OBJ. I've also performed a fresh install.
  7. Hey dude thanks a lot I didn't even notice I was still using that hehe, much appreciated man
  8. I have no idea why this is happening, I can paint fine on a 1k texture setting however when I want to paint on a 2k texture I get some issues occurring. The setting's I have are exactly the same for each, just the different texture sizes.
