  1. Its fun to play! …a quick jotting. I think that you can get the idea. Trying to get the voxel 'thing' happening in the logo.
  2. Hhhm...I guess that means that you will have it done by dinner tomorrow evening.
  3. Is there any way to position an imported 'external mesh' as a whole for a better fit when retopolising? I was experimenting with this feature by trying to retopolise the 3DC standard head (man2.obj) with a mesh of a male head that I have, the imported mesh was never centred on reference mesh, only a couple of polys where attached to the reference. (edit: added attachment)
  4. Thanks Andrew, that was it. I will have to explore that whole aspect of 3DC again, I thought that I had already made all the mistakes that I could. :P
  5. I am doing a very simple model for an illustration. All looks OK in 3DC, but when I export it out as an .obj the texture is not appearing as I would have expected it. I have uploaded two screen grabs from 3DC, one of the working window and another of the texture window, the third is what is being exported as the .obj texture. Obviously I am doing something wrong, but I have not had this trouble before, can some one point me in the right direction. Oh, I let 3DC auto UV when i imported the model as an .obj from my modelling package. Cheers
  6. Sorry Andrew, its the material preview window as in here....http://www.3d-coat.com/screenshots/MaterialPreview.jpg
  7. Thats what I thought, but no go.
  8. How can you resize the material preview window? Mine is appearing as tiny horizontal strip about 2px high. Cheers
  9. I had been trying to click on the plane.
  10. Howdy all! I have probably got a gumby question but....my conundrum goes like this. Open 3DC and load the sample.obj file. Turn X plane symmetry on. My question is, how do I get the symmetry plane to centre on the object or reposition the obj to the centre of the plane? I am going cross eyed trying to figure it out. Cheers
