If you mean possibility to create and manipulate nurbs surfaces and transform them to voxels, it is not so hard to do, just time question (as always).

There is very good SDK - http://www.opennurbs.org/ and I plan to use it or 3DC.

Hi Andrew

Any news about it ?

It works really good to export nurbs objects as meshs in obj format from Rhino and then import the obj for voxelizing. In the voxel room you can also use the Merge tool and Select mesh to add the obj. I crank up the number of polygons when exporting from Rhino since the mesh will be voxelized anyway. Should be the same for MoI.

The image shows a Rhino export to obj with multiple objects. The individual objects can be retained when imported for voxelizing.

A rectangular array tool in the voxel room would make it easy to create this kind of stuff completely inside of 3D Coat.

It's been brought up before. It has less geometry to get mangled in tight spaces...which snapping can sometimes do. But NURBS seem to be way down at the bottom of Andrew's to do list, if at all...especially with more of us clamoring for him to freeze new features for a spell and focus on bugfixing/stability.
