Advanced Member ggaliens Posted February 9, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted February 9, 2013 I can't find "AIM" in PDF or forum search. I'm a Wings3D User ... so looking for word AIM. I want similar or same functionality for VOXEL room. I'm sure I used to know how to do this.
Advanced Member ggaliens Posted February 9, 2013 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted February 9, 2013 Uh ... I just hit PICK in voxel room and it changed the size of my model w.r.t. the grid. This seems like a BUG to me.
Advanced Member ggaliens Posted February 9, 2013 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted February 9, 2013 I just hit FILL and Clay after camera AIM (which I finally found). And it still wanted to execute camera controls until I clicked back and forth a few times out of frustrations. Seems like another BUG. Also ... clicking ORTHO makes my model disappear. Contributor Tony Nemo Posted February 9, 2013 Contributor Report Share Posted February 9, 2013 "clicking ORTHO makes my model disappear" suggests to me that your model is out of the view window only. It's there but maybe not at 0,0,0,
Contributor ajz3d Posted February 9, 2013 Contributor Report Share Posted February 9, 2013 There's no Aim function in 3D Coat like in Wings3D. You might want to use a combination of Frame, Focus on Pen and various Rotate around... functions instead. Frame will also help you in finding your missing volume. Advanced Member ggaliens Posted February 9, 2013 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted February 9, 2013 This is what I figure about ORTHO issue ... that I needed to normalize my model size and or placement. I took steps to do so but apparently I failed at that.
Advanced Member alvordr Posted February 9, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted February 9, 2013 Press Shift A and your camera should target the model. If that's not working, then either your model "eye" icon is turned off or your scale is too small to see, or your model is gone for some reason.
