Member danmst3k Posted April 3, 2013 Member Report Share Posted April 3, 2013 A rhino I'm playing around with. My 3 1/2 year old is in to animals now and I saw a rhinoceros in a video he was watching and thought why not give it a go. Thought I'd post a couple of images.
Advanced Member Garagarape Posted April 3, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted April 3, 2013 Very good proportions! Will you add some details, wrinkles or skin feel on your sculpt?
Member danmst3k Posted April 4, 2013 Author Member Report Share Posted April 4, 2013 Thanks! I'll probably take it a little farther in voxels then do some of the finer details like the skin bumps in paint.
Advanced Member castaneda Posted April 4, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted April 4, 2013 Nice sculpt. Would like to see the end result with the details and skin texture.

Member danmst3k Posted April 5, 2013 Author Member Report Share Posted April 5, 2013 Rhino update! I added some skin wrinkles to the vox sculpt. Originally I was going to do this in the paint room but the resolution is fine enough for some skin wrinkles. I tried to do this in LC but I was getting some strange distortions in the mesh. There was one area of the front legs that just refused to behave.
Advanced Member Garagarape Posted April 5, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted April 5, 2013 Great results with the wrinkles! Texturing now? Or may be retopo?
Contributor Tony Nemo Posted April 5, 2013 Contributor Report Share Posted April 5, 2013 Present detail seems adequate for all but extreme closeups.
