Ok, here is the way to set your scale in 3DCoat for blender. It is easy...

1. Open a new 3DCoat scene

2. Under the voxels menu chose Edit Scene Scale.

3. Setting the scale to "50" will mean that the default primitive cube under the primitives menu will import into blender at 2x2 meters.(same as blender's cube)

4. Setting the scale to "100" you get a 1x1 meter cube imported into blender.

How to do it:

First open a new scene but change the scene scale right away.

Choose the default primitive cube under the primitive tool but do not scale it. It serves has your reference base for scale in the 3D viewport.

"There is the measurement tool as well for checking dimensions according to your measurement units."

Now any object you create will be set to blender's scale or units... I have set my blender scale to meters...

For ease of use Save the default cube scene with the new scale as your default 3DCoat file. The one you would open after starting 3DC.

I also define my 3DCoat measurement units to 1 meter... That is under the voxels menu as well.

And of course you can get fancy with all different kind of scales and measurement units for real world stuff but this is the basic setup...

Done...
