Strange bug in 35. On my laptop I tried to draw a staright line with the curve tool. I hit enter when done then Esc to clear the tool. When hitting Esc. I got this weird lines that look like bead curtains on either side of the curve. ignore the messy sculpture , the line I drew is below that.

Edit: Here's another one. hitting Clear adds the new sphere, but does not clear out the rest.

Edit 2: More curves. Apparently this Curve issue is a major memory leak! I did the same thing as above on my desktop and as soon as I hit Esc my computer froze up. I let it go for a while and could eventually move the mouse. By the time I got the Task Manager open 3DC said it was using over 3GB of ram and rapidly rising. A few seconds later I got an out of memory error and was able to make 3DC shut down. Log file attached if it helps.

V35 OSX bug while converting to polys. Sometimes it work, sometimes i have results like this in the picture. And sometimes i make some modifications on the voxel model then i convert to polys again and the model don't have my modifications. One is the picture on voxels the other on polys. The last, i've tried to export some models in obj format:

-crash on modo (latest version)

-correct import on carrara (latest version)

Huge volumetric mesh can't be converted to polygones.

This is the error it gives,after loading and trying to convert to polygones

If it can help I can send you the 18 millions mesh,let me know.

Here's another one for transpose. Select Object seems to miss some large chunks of the object. The missing spots are in "box" shapes like it was a quadrant of screen space that was missed. If I try to paint in the missing spots with the pen, the cursor moves very slowly over the object, but it does fill them in.

transpose widget is gone, 39(64bit) dx en gl on ati card, latest drivers

clear function, leaves the model on stage but if you brush it dissapears like hiding (on gl version)

since previous beta the brush strenght indicator (alpha cursor graphic), is upside down , when adjusting if flips back up and release its down again,

A couple of bugs. I think I mentioned this somewhere but didn't post a screenshot. This image is what happens when I start a new volumetric sculpture with CUDA on and hit Increase Resolution twice without touching anything else.

This next one shows how it's not possible to paint on a Transpose selection in a tight area. When trying to paint just the bottom, you will always hit the top as well.

I've gone back to version 40 since 41 and 42 are not really useful for me besides testing. So maybe this was fixed. While I'm working with the GL64 version I'll randomly see my whole screen go black for maybe 2 seconds, then a popup says something like "The display driver crashed and recovered". When I click OK everything goes back to the way it was except for 3DC. 3DC now has an all white interface (everything but the Windows title bar) and after about a minute this error pops up.

When I click OK 3DC closes. There's no warning when this happens it's totally random. So far it has occurred during sculpting and retopo, but it may not even matter what I'm doing.

BTW this is on my desktop, it has not happened on my laptop.

I wanted to list a two display bugs I've had with "incremental render" in v42 DX 32bit 8800GT (not cuda)

* If you toggle the 3D Grid from the menu, or keyboard shortcut - it doesn't update until you move the camera

* Enable 'Cast Shadows' with incremental render makes the grid disappear, and flicker when brushing.

Other than that, there's no reason to turn off the option!

Looks like my bug got deleted.

Massive performance degrade on Non-Cuda GL version in 41/42

Grid lines go all wonky in GL version when zooming in, overlay object, and sometimes are not straight wrt each other.

Ok, I will check... But really strange because non-cuda version was almost unchanged... Where is bottleneck?

- overall FPS

- painting wit big radius

- painting with small radius

- smoothing

- some specific tool

?

Hi Im using alpha 42

at work the voxel sculpting seems to work fine

there I have a q6600 2GB ram nvidia 8500 genius graohics tablet

at home I have amd 3500+ 2GB ram 8800GT wacom graphire4 I find the normal voxel sculpting brush fine but when I hold ctrl...which is supposed to invert the brush function...it seems to do a smooth function rather than invert or have very little power. This makes it pretty impossible to do any voxel sculpting at home.
