Hey, thank you very much for the tip! I'll be watching the gun video today at night.

Btw, I found this series from 3DMotive: http://3dmotive.com/series/stylized-character-modeling.html

It covers 3Dcoat retopo and painting. I believe the painting process starts at Volume 2, but I didn't watched yet, so if anyone wants to take a shot...

Hey guys,

Just wanted to post up a new tutorial I just finished on handpainting the female face.

kelvin-tan-gumroad-crabhunter-presentatiThis is pretty much all textured in 3DCoat.

Materials included are skin, bone, rope, eyes, carapace.

For further information check it out at this link, thank you!

Looks rad! What version of 3D-Coat is being used for this video?

Heya!

Made a new video based on handpainting fur in 3dcoat :).

It can be found at www.gumroad.com/turpedo

This four-part time lapse painting tutorial showcases my approach to texturing a space pirate dog with in-depth coverage of fur. Additionally, I will be going over materials from the character's accessories such as bone, gold, metal and emissive glows. This tutorial is designed to be user-friendly for both novice and veteran users of 3DCoat. I will be sharing many useful tips and tricks for navigating and utilizing 3DCoat as efficiently as possible to enhance your textures. As usual, I will also be narrating my thought process from beginning to end in regards to design, lighting, and other workflow principles.

Programs used -

-3DCoat v4.1(Newer and older versions should still work out fine)

You will receive -

-OBJ of the space pirate

-4 hours of HD footage and audio commentary

You will learn -

-Hand painted texturing from scratch

-Materials covered - Fur, eyes, metal, bone, gold, emissive glows

Hope you guys like it and most of all I hope that is it helpful for you!

Thanks,

Kelvin
