Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted May 11, 2015 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted May 11, 2015 It's easier to bevel text in a traditional poly modeling app, but I have always found myself having to burn a decent amount of time cleaning up the geometry after doing so, otherwise you'll typically see some nasty artifacts at render time. It takes a little longer to select the areas > bevel in voxels (then auto-retpo if you need to output a low poly version), but you're able to bypass the time-consuming cleanup part, needed in a poly-modeling app. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
