Advanced Member L'Ancien Regime Posted September 22, 2015 Advanced Member Report Share Posted September 22, 2015 (edited) https://www.artstation.com/artwork/sam-608-single-arm-manipulator Few months ago I started working on some industrial spacecraft concepts. I’ve been trying to incorporate cloth as a material more into my designs to help give a more authentic and functional feeling. Programs used in the creation of SAM-608 were 3ds Max, Marvelous Designer, Vray, Photoshop, Zbrush. Advanced Member L'Ancien Regime Posted September 23, 2015 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted September 23, 2015 He did this using zbrush and marvelous designer but there's nothing there you couldn't do in 3d Coat, maybe faster and easier. Member norbyscook Posted February 12, 2017 Member Report Share Posted February 12, 2017 L'Ancien Regime , would you say 3D coat is faster than the pipeline he used?

I don't know about "fast". There's a lot of study of spacecraft technology in there but generally I find 3d Coat is easier to use than Zbrush. That's just me though.

Advanced Member L'Ancien Regime Posted April 3, 2017 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted April 3, 2017 Paul Pepera Artist Co-founder. I like spaceships. https://systemera.net/ Yesterday, March 27, we very suddenly lost our partner and dear friend Paul Pepera. System Era is in mourning today. Paul’s family has traveled to Seattle to make appropriate arrangements. They have asked for privacy at this time. Many knew Paul in this industry as an artistic tour de force. His talent left an imprint on this game industry that inspired countless others. He was one quarter of our founding team, and a boundless source of inspiration and beauty. Most of all to us, he was a warm and compassionate close friend. Somewhere, maybe a star burns a little brighter. Safe travels, Paul. We miss and love you. the System Era team Third from the right, Paul Pepera.
