New Member Urs Posted September 26, 2015 New Member Report Share Posted September 26, 2015 Hi I have to 3D print a complete head of a man. The head is cut somewhere in the region of the neck at a certain angle to stand on. For a further moulding process I need a wall thickness of 7mm to get the moulding shell. I can accomplish in 3D Coat both tasks except that the actual surface (7mm) the object stands on gets round and with many newly introduced artifacts. How can I get a crisp sharp and even surface? Thanks in advance for any help
Member Solution Hugues Posted September 27, 2015 Member Solution Report Share Posted September 27, 2015 Was facing the same issue a while ago. There is a nice tool designed to create joints for 3dprinting, it does a superbe clean cut. I think I remember you can have the cut without any round or square joint inside. In Surface mode, Objects menu on left, Split & Joints.
