Greetings Don ,

yes i noticed this on some as well BUT THIS ONLY HAPPENS ON VOXEL SCULPTING  , those brushes where mainly created for NORMAL painting.

90% of the models where sculpted in 3D Coat and imported as dense obj (drag and drop) to create the alphas and all got max 512 px

Will try upload the zip you are requesting hopefully by the end of the week.

The example just above your post was on the sample Sphere....which is a low-poly UV mapped model. Not voxels. The 512 x 512 is just too low res for sharp shaped brushes, without some countermeasures taken such as Bluring the edges in PS. At minimum, I would run the Batch utility in PS to repeat the gaussian blur > Save Action. At least on the hard surface and sci fi shape brushes. It will look better in both the Sculpt and Paint room. You can just run the batch on a folder at a time.

Just in case you haven't needed to run the batch utility in PS, before, or need a refresher of the steps in PS CC:

BRUSH COLLECTION ONLY FOR 3D COAT

Ohhh! I was looking for brushes for 3dcoat when I was learning to use the program, my trial period ran out but I'm going to buy a licence hopefully next month.  I've just bought your brush collection, looking forward to trying them when I can use 3dcoat again. :D

It's not your fault. It's just the limitation you were constrained to when you made them. Andrew should have increased that to at least 1024 x 1024, if not add an option for 2048 x2048, a long time ago. I sent him an email about it and he hasn't even answered. Maybe if you send him one, he will. Thanks for the brushes and all the assets. They fill a big need. Good work :good2:

Oh man that weapons pack is definitely for me, I'll have to pick it up this weekend. If I buy the 3rd link (the all one) that comes with both 3d coat packs right? I primarily use 3D Coat to make scratch built weapons for games and nothing is more fun than when I get to the painting section. I use a combination of my own custom materials and your weather effects and the results are always great. Adding layers of chipped metal, scratches, and a little dust really makes a model look worn and used. Best part is it is very easy to make multiple variations quickly and natural looking.

This new era of 3d painting tools like substance painter and 3D coat is better than I could have imagined really with how easy and well it is to get the exact results I would expect if I had to do the traditional 2d painting with UV's in photoshop like the old days. Except nowadays I don't even have to manually unwrap my models and 3D Coat does the boring job for me too lol

Oh yeah if you are still looking for ideas on future material packs I'm definitely still interested in any type of rubber texture packs for sure. Anything that would have that cool normal mapping for handles,, grips, flooring, rubber patterns, etc (I can provide examples if need be). I'd buy that pack in a heartbeat for sure. I've made my own rubber materials and they do look great but I am always open to expanding my 3D Coat material library with your stuff, its quality content.

Many thanks for the support M , those gun metals DO work great with the advance weathering collection.

The third link has everything inside , 3dc smart materials and 2 sbsar , 1 with pre defined textures and one fully open to user to get its textures.

You can also export infinite tileable textures with player or b2m as well.

Rubber , i am on it;)

If you can share any crazy high quality weapon i would love to render it with Instant Light and get you a mini interview on the site.
