Retopo to Mesh

I have a sculpted mesh and a "retopo object", all I want to do is convert it to a mesh without exporting, as in put it back in the "voxtree" on a new layer but there is no option I can find in the retopo room and "retopo objects" are not visible in any other room.

I also have nothing showing up in my UV room, Is there a way to make my retopo show up there without exporting or is exporting the solution?

I would much rather stay inside the application.

Hi!

Retopo Objects do not show up in any of the other rooms. They are considered "virtual" meshes. So:

  • To get your Retopo Object to the Sculpt Room, select the Retopo Object you want to bring to the Sculpt Room, then from the Sculpt Room, activate the Import tool, then click "Pick From Retopo"
  • To UV map a Retopo Object, there is a full set of UV tools in the Retopo Room. They exist on the Left Tool Panel under the UV sub-section. The UV Room is only for Paint Objects

That should get you going.
