I wonder if its possible to select specific topology in 3dcoat to paint them accurately?

In Modo I'm able to select polygons specifically then paint them. This is useful for me in some projects where I use the mesh flow as paint flow. I don't know if I can do it in 3dcoat wthout tedious masking so I"m doing this kind of painting in modo.

Here's a very simple example.

You can also use the Polygon Paint draw mode to paint select a group of polygons you want to mask, using the Freeze brush (don't forget, you can store/reload freeze masks in the FREEZE menu). And Obviously you can invert it, just like you would in Photoshop, with the same Hotkey (CTRL + SHIFT + I) combo. Then paint like you normally would, with brushes, stencils and Smart Materials.
