New Member tunami Posted November 30, 2016 New Member Report Share Posted November 30, 2016 Is there a way to import a camera from maya or 3dsmax? If not, this would be an awesome feature to have. I would like to import a camera and have it saved in the Camera dropdown.
Carlosan
Hello Currently 3DC does not have a physical camera to change the settings but a representation of the computer display that tries to emulate a camera.
Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted December 1, 2016 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted December 1, 2016 Plus, there is not animation in 3D Coat, so I don't see the value in importing a camera.
New Member tunami Posted December 1, 2016 Author New Member Report Share Posted December 1, 2016 I have a fixed camera view in maya that i wish i could replicate exactly in 3dcoat, to project/paint textures onto the geometry at the same viewing angle. No animation needed. I can get close but its not exact. It would just be a nice to have feature
