Member chrisjuuuh Posted January 11, 2017 Member Report Share Posted January 11, 2017 Hi everyone, I've been playing around with the idea of a 3DC purchase and seeing as it was on sale yesterday i dived in. However, to my dismay i cannot for the life of me get the pen pressure to work on my Surface pro 4. Its working fine in photoshop and I think I have all the right stuff set up. Brush type is set to a brush with opacity controlled by pressure and i have the symbol next to the opacity slider in the top set to a pen. Is there anything else that I am missing? I've seen some good coments about using 3DC on a surface so it must be possible? Many Thanks! Chris.
Javis
I don't have a surface unfortunately, so hopefully someone with one can come in and give you a hand. There is one thing I might suggest, to see if it works... If you ALT+Tab from 3DC(then release the key) then ALT+Tab back to 3DC, it might help. There was a known windows issue with some tablets where this would solve the pressure sensitivity issue with various applications.

SERGYI
The pressure on "Surface Pro 4" will work in "3D-Coat" if you will install optional WinTab driver for "Surface Pro 4". For example, from here (files "Wintab_x64_1.0.0.20.zip" and "Wintab_x32_1.0.0.20.zip"):https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49498
