Advanced Member Nossgrr Posted January 27, 2017 Advanced Member Report Share Posted January 27, 2017 Well what a surprise, you can grab Stingray and use it for free until you actually make $$ with it.. I was evaluating Cryengine (Lumberyard) and noticed this in a forum thread. Anyways, with Unity, Unreal, Lumberyard and now Stingray.. It's never been a better time for indie devs. http://www.autodesk.com/products/stingray/overview
Member Speike-Styles Posted January 28, 2017 Member Report Share Posted January 28, 2017 (edited) Nice info thanks. I've been wanting to check it out, but it still seems only for 30 Days or for Students can get free software for 3 years. Advanced Member Nossgrr Posted January 31, 2017 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted January 31, 2017 When you install the trial, look at the top right corner of the app once installed, you have the option to activate it. Hit that and then select the free hobbyist option. Should be good to go.
