Carlosan Posted March 2, 2017 Report Share Posted March 2, 2017 I copy the kitbash meshes (obj) to specific folders located in the 3D-Coat Program/Application folder (depending on your OS), under VoxStamps/Objects/nameyourfolderhere Then use models or splines to add it to the scene And transform or pose tool to follow the base sculpt mesh Tool option > on pen is a great option to use too Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Edit: more specifically, how suitable is 3d coat for making kitbash sets to reuse within 3d coat. Advanced Member kenmo Posted March 4, 2017 Advanced Member Report Share Posted March 4, 2017 I noticed there appear to be two locations to add stuff like kitbash models on my computer : Some are installed here C:\Users\kenmo\Documents\3D-CoatV47\VoxStamps And other here C:\Program Files\3D-Coat-V4.7.24X\VoxStamps Which is correct? Are both required? I find installing stuff in the same folder as the application very messy and frustrating. Each time there is an upgrade to 3DC I have to re-install all the voxstamps, splines, materials, stencils, etc to the new Program Files folder. Would it not be better just to have a standard folder in my documents that is independent of 3DCoat version? ie: C:\Users\kenmo\Documents\3D-Coat\VoxStamps Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
