Member MechChicken Posted April 25, 2017 Member Report Share Posted April 25, 2017 I bet the solution is really easy, but I can't find it. How do I bevel a hard edge, for example that of a cube? Is there a way to use the epanel, draw a line or polyline on the edge, or all edges I want, and then do a bevel operation? * for chamfer, I probably can use Cut Off, but if there is an operation available where I can change the profile of the cut or bevel, that would be great. Thanks.

Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted April 27, 2017 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted April 27, 2017 You can bevel a poly mesh in the Retopo workspace and instantly move a copy of it to the Sculpt workspace, by going to the Sculpt Workspace > GEOMETRY menu > RETOPO MESH to SCULPT MESH. Assign a hotkey to that menu option if you think you might use that often.
