Textured wraps

Hi all,

I only became aware of 3D-Coat a week ago and it's already proved to be invaluable.  It is however slightly outside of what I'm accustomed to so apologies for the very simplistic question!

I use Rhino and T-splines every day so I have no issue with modelling or adding to organic models in 3D-Coat, where I do have issues however is when I need something more structured such as a seamless repeat pattern for example.

What I'm currently trying to do is deboss a repeat texture into a vase shape that I've created in Rhino, ready for 3D printing.  Could anyone lend a hand in regards to how I should go about doing this?

Simple alphas and brushes I'm fine with but how do I begin to go about embossing cylinders and more organic forms all over as with the attached images?

Many thanks in advance!

Andy
