philnolan3d
Anybody using one of these with 3DC? I just got a new laptop last night and it's Windows Ink compatible so I got the Bamboo pen to go with it. The pen seems to work fine in Photoshop but in 3DC I'm not seeing any pressure sensitivity. I'll still have to test it some more.

philnolan3d
Hmm that doesn't seem to be it.
philnolan3d
I think I found the problem. There's a driver available but it says my new laptop isn't compatible. Maybe 3DC needs the driver but Photoshop doesn't.
philnolan3d
Turns out that's not it. According to Wacom over Twitter the driver not working is normal for my laptop. They seems to be saying if it works in one program it should work in all of them.
SERGYI
Please download this standalone test application:http://www.3d-coat.com/~sergyi/Tests/3D-Coat-Pressure-Test.zip This application is the engine of "Tablet Pen" input used by "3D-Coat". Using key [1] and [2] switch between two tablet libraries: "WinTab" and "Tablet PC" (selected library name is shown in the low left corner in yellow). Currently "3D-Coat" uses "WinTab" which will work only if you will install Wacom "WinTab" driver. Please report what do you see when using "Tablet PC" library which should work without additional Wacom "WinTab" driver. Pressing with pen should show "Left Tablet Button" with "Pressure = xxx" (on moderate touch about 300, on hard touch around 600). Please report me directly on my e-mail "support DOT linux AT 3dcoat DOT com".
philnolan3d
Looks like the latest beta version fixes the pen, it works great now! Just have to switch to Tablet PC mode in the preferences. Thanks Sergyi.
