New Member AM92 Posted December 11, 2017 New Member Report Share Posted December 11, 2017 New to 3D Coat here. I've created a model in Maya which I've imported into coat to sculpt, but when I hit apply in tool options after scaling it up it starts to flicker and parts are see-through. What am I doing wrong? Just to add to this, whenever you import an object into 3D Coat's Sculpt or Retopo workspace, what you are seeing is a preliminary copy...a proxy of the actual object. Even when you hit APPLY, 3D Coat keeps assumes you want to continue using the proxy until you choose another tool.
Javis
A little further information as to why it's doing that - One of the models you're seeing is "virtual" or ready to be applied/created in the scene by the import tool, and the other has already been applied in the scene. You can also change your tool to something other than the Import tool, and you'll see things as normal.
