[Solved] How to transform on 2 axes?

Hi,

I am having a hard time figuring out how to use transform gizmo to scale an object in just two axes. It's an extremely frequent operation I need almost all the time. For example I want to scale only width of a cylinder without scaling its height. Right now I am working around it by scaling the entire object uniformly, and then scaling it down on one axis, but that's very bad, because then I have to realign object back on its correct place. I must be missing something, because every software has this option. How do I do it in 3DCoat?

Thanks

Hi

Select the little yellow cubes in axis extremes to scale an object in just two axes .

I think he means making a transform where it scales  or moves along 2 axis simultaneously....such as scale the width along the X axis and up in the y axis at the same time. You can do this in most 3D apps...just not 3D Coat. The closest thing is to grab the small circle in the middle, to move the object in screen space (2 axis), but it's not quite the same. I've asked Andrew for this multiple times, to no avail.
