Advanced Member lc8b105 Posted February 15, 2009 Advanced Member Report Share Posted February 15, 2009 Currently I'm building a site about CG news. I'm thinking a title for it: "The most concerned news by CG artist". But I'm not sure if this phrase is correct on grammar, is it need to add a "about" after "concerned" (That is "The most concerned about news by CG artist")? I need your advise, thanks in advance. Advanced Member wailingmonkey Posted February 15, 2009 Advanced Member Report Share Posted February 15, 2009 hmmm...not exactly what you intend to cover, but maybe: "Industry-relevant news for the CG Artist" or "Important industry-specific news for the CG Artist" hope it helps... Advanced Member lc8b105 Posted February 15, 2009 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted February 15, 2009 Thank you wailingmonkey, I'm building a Digg-like site for CG Artists to discover and share the most exciting news in CG industry, which mainly focused on CG software / hardware news. But as a none native English speaker, it's really difficult for me to think out a good and shorty title for it.
Advanced Member Maximus3D Posted February 15, 2009 Advanced Member Report Share Posted February 15, 2009 You need to keep a title like that short, humans have a short attention span and long lines of text bores people and they will probably not click there and read more. So you might wanna keep it as simple and as informative as possible. "CG industry news" "CG business news" "CG news" It should be 'catchy' yet easily readable and understandable for anyone visiting the site regardless of their english skills. / Magnus

You give me the idea. Really as you say, short is very important. I think I got a right title: "Discover CG news".
