Advanced Member Oliver Thornton Posted March 20, 2009 Advanced Member Report Share Posted March 20, 2009 Hiya folks, just posting some of my works with VS after a few hours of tinkering. The head only took about 30 minutes of trial and error to sculpt out of the default ball. Love this stuff, it's like digital goo!
Advanced Member Oliver Thornton Posted October 27, 2009 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted October 27, 2009 Finally an update. Hands and feet to go, then some basic shading for final renders. Cyborg concept, 3DC voxels at play. I'll replace the place-holder eyes in the final for something red and glowy.

Thanks very much 3d_sculptress! It's really more fun than an artist should be allowed to use these tools. Most of the form is based on real muscle flow, the rest comes from 3DC's voxel tools. Originally I was not planning on using much retopo, but now I think I might. If I can get around the poor original planning of the leg pose, I may just be able to work something out. I still have alot to learn about the workflow process,, but enjoying every minute of the learning process. as for the leg pose, guess it's generally best to just buil the model in a straightforward upright standing position, then no gurantees, of course, but you can usually repose it later with the pose tool....would you be able to use the pose tool to repose it before going to retopo ?
