Member Stanley Posted June 18, 2009 Member Report Share Posted June 18, 2009 Interesting, the humble little Move tool is great deal more flexible than one might suspect. While the videos evidently contain no audio track, they clearly demonstrate how to shift voxels around with precision.
Advanced Member e214 Posted June 18, 2009 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted June 18, 2009 I hope it shows the ease of use of 3dcoat. you can in the end cut out the ones u like, and make stamps of them again, and get yourself a face library. Member Stanley Posted June 18, 2009 Member Report Share Posted June 18, 2009 http://www.vimeo.com/5214200 e214, I don't understand what's happening in your video "Untitled" around the 1:30 mark. A progress bar appears and the application sits there, but the model doesn't seem to look any different afterwards.
Advanced Member e214 Posted June 18, 2009 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted June 18, 2009 I subdivided the voxel, that's what's taking a few seconds. I did that to give the screws some extra detail. Would have been better to put them on a seperate layer maybe.
Advanced Member Digital777 Posted June 20, 2009 Advanced Member Report Share Posted June 20, 2009 Im confused, how do you pull the shape towards you like that ? I try it with the piramid pen and when i drag i can only do it to the side and then the shape is messed up and nothing like how it looks like it works in yours (it needs audio to explain how you do it). Also i keep getting glitch graphics even after increasing the resolution -
Advanced Member e214 Posted June 20, 2009 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted June 20, 2009 Yes,I could have made a lot more things clear,my bad. I will do a start to finish soon. What u need to do is hold ctrl (mac) while pulling the piramid.
