We have created manual in Wiki format. It is open to be changed and improved. If you see some incorrectness there you can change it or add something new.

We continue work over manual pages.

It is possible now to translate it on other languges on this wiki page.

That's a really good idea, changes happen so fast I'd imagine it's difficult to keep a PDF manual up to date.

Perfect ! :good:

Maybe I will make some pages as soon as some free times :)

Just a question!

Must make a new account different than the 3DCoat forum?

Very nice!

Yes, it requires different registration.

I set up the new registration and it's supposed to send me a confirmation email, but I never got it.

I will ask webmaster. But today he is unavailable.

Thanks for setting up the Wiki! Maybe a Print functionality which allows for outputting all the content

at once (as a complete manual) was helpful?

I have approved your registration manually, so now you can edit wiki.

Please check your spam folder, I think confirmation email was directed there.

Thanks. I've been checking my junk folder both on the GMail website and on my own email program, no sign of it.

Is there a "connection" between the "Translation 3DCoat on other Languages" and the Wiki? Because synchronous naming in both is essential for consistency...

There is no connection. Wiki uses its own engine and DB.

FYI I have started a little bit of contributing - my first time with Wiki so bear with me as I get used to it :)

The most important for this type of Wiki, more than the Manual side, are really the workflows and the workarounds for quirky and intuitive brick walls in the creative process

Hi

Where can I set up the new registration ?

You do not have permission to create this user account, for the following reason:

The action you have requested is limited to users in the group: Administrators.

I get the same error, I even made a mediawiki.org account to see if that helped... it didn't.

Thanks so much for taking time with this manual. It's really well done, too. Thank you very much.

Sadly it is outdated by now. I'm still hoping for a documentation, that has an index and is searchable.
