Member lino Posted February 15, 2010 Member Report Share Posted February 15, 2010 Just installed 3D Coat! I love its retopo tools...really impressive. And this is a voxel sculpting I'm working on. Nothing special for now...I'll go on adding more and more detail!
Javis
Hey Lino! Good to see you over here man. I'm sure you'll enjoy 3DC with LW, they make a great team with the direct .lwo support. Good looking sculpture so far, too. It has your style. I can't wait to see how it evolves.
Member lino Posted February 15, 2010 Author Member Report Share Posted February 15, 2010 Thank you so much! Yeah....looks like 3D Coat is a very natural complement to LW. Another wip. Hey Lino! Taros
Have very little time to work on it...but that's it so far! Why don't you take it, use it as a retopo training and paint on it in 3DC? It's a good way to try the other tools of 3DC. A pure sculpture doesn't give life to a charakter, but a texture does. I'm seriously interested in learning the rest (I know how to retopo in 3D Coat...never try color texturing).

Advanced Member michalis Posted February 28, 2010 Advanced Member Report Share Posted February 28, 2010 So another newbie here (me), we'll learn 3d coat together, is there any class room? lol "A pure sculpture doesn't give life to a character, but a texture does." A pure sculpture is a pure sculpture, so my opinion is yes and no. We'll see about it, it depends on what we call 'life'.

Advanced Member ditus Posted March 4, 2010 Advanced Member Report Share Posted March 4, 2010 yes looks a bit like the alien out of "enemy mine". but one big thing, the skin looks amazing wrong, you had to invert the brush by pattern it.
