Advanced Member michalis Posted September 27, 2010 Advanced Member Report Share Posted September 27, 2010 Nice sculpture. But, topology doesn't follow geometry. What will happen to these seams when animating? How much stretching of the texture (and distortion) ? If a more detailed sculpture (to zbrush) is the case, still the same question. Topology has to follow and help sculpting details somehow. You may noticed the stretching in my rock's textures. Snakes like effect! This due to subdivisions only. If displacement is what you have in mind something similar will take place.
Advanced Member Rich_Art Posted September 28, 2010 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted September 28, 2010 Yeah I know all about edgeflow. But this us just a simple test and there will be no animation at all so I don't bother about the correct edge flow. Thanks for the comment of course. Peace, Rich_Art. Advanced Member Rich_Art Posted September 28, 2010 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted September 28, 2010 Thanks Adam, For me this is not a wip anymore. But it is not a Final either that is why I posted it here. It is more a simple doodle to understand and learn the 3DCoat tools. So far I love it. Peace, Rich_Art.
