Applink Developer haikalle Posted October 1, 2010 Applink Developer Report Share Posted October 1, 2010 Hi! Nice to see more houdini users here. I'm not quite sure about the question but you can bring obj file into 3d-coat by choosing File->Import-> Best option for you. Ones you have done painting, you export your textures and load them in houdini.

Applink Developer haikalle Posted October 2, 2010 Applink Developer Report Share Posted October 2, 2010 Main rule is that there is 3 ways to take your mesh from retopo room into paint room. They are:Micro-verts,Ptex,PPP. They both have their pros and cons. Just go to retopo menu and for example choose "Merge with NM(per-pixel)" There is a lot of other options so my advise would be to test them out and see what is best in your situation. Hope this helps at least a little bit.
