Member Casey C Benn Posted December 15, 2010 Member Report Share Posted December 15, 2010 Is there a way to set the retopo mesh's opacity setting? Sometimes I want to have it more opaque and other times I want it more transparent. Thanks.
philnolan3d
Not that I know of. Sometimes it helps to adjust the Z-Bias slider.
Member reeks Posted December 15, 2010 Member Report Share Posted December 15, 2010 Not that I know of. Sometimes it helps to adjust the Z-Bias slider. The option* of a transparent base mesh would be fabulous though. Topogun just seemed to have it nailed. (With that in mind) it feels really awkward to even see the mesh in 3DCoat Retopo room. A huge pity, because 3DCoat Retopo is so much more user friendly in every other aspect. *Though, in radio box form, rather than a prefeence set
philnolan3d
If you're using voxels you can do this, most shaders have an opacity setting. Just right click the voxel layer and pick Edit Shader settings, then adjust the opacity. If you're using a polygonal model to retopo you should just be able to reduce the opacity of layer 0 in the paint room.
