Member p3ta3dcoat Posted February 23, 2011 Member Report Share Posted February 23, 2011 I am trying to voxel paint small cylinders onto an irregular surface. I want to randomize the orientation of the cylinders and understand that I can do that in the brush options using jitter and rotation amplitude etc. What I am not sure is how I "load" the cylinder as a brush and whether I can do that in the voxel room. I can make a low poly cylinder mesh and load it as a "tube" brush but I want the cylinders to land vertically on the surface. Similar to the image I have attached. Any cool ideas on how to do this best. Peter
philnolan3d
That's easy enough, Go to the Merge tool and load your object, then under the Load mesh button hit the On Pen button. That's it. http://screencast.com/t/BUB2leE273V

philnolan3d
Hmm... Not to my knowledge. It just uses the object as you loaded it.
