For now, clicking on any texture that want to paint, it appears as a tiled pattern. The same thing is with masks.

Is there any trick to make them appear as a single picture in the center of the screen?

If not, It would be a useful (in my opinion) because not every time I need to paint whole patten.

As it's for now, when a have something like this:

aztec1.jpg

and its cropped close to boundaries of the picture it's very difficult to paint it as a single decal.

Of course, I can add additional margins around but it has to be done every time with similar pictures.

If 3DC has such option... I didn't found it anywhere.

I first discovered the problem when I was working on the Starfighter that's seen on the texture painting section of the site. I was trying to apply the "decal" images and it was such a pain that I ended up shooting the texture out to Photoshop to apply them and going back and forth a few times until they were right.

I also have had this issue for a loonnngggg time. I recently requested this on Mantis as well. There should be an option for tiling and not tiling for anything that would benefit from it being so (masks, materials, etc.).

EDIT: If you're interested in putting your voice in the mantis request, please do so. The more the merrier (and likelier we are to see it).

Oddly I keep getting a "bad request" error when clicking those Mantis links.
