G-Man v Scientist

15 posts in this topic

This was done in conjunction with Carrara. Any one clever enough to make an Applink? This was a nightmare jumping back and forth!

It's a cyborg G-Man punching out an alternate reality Nazi scientist......?

I love your work Stu, and I agree that an applink for Carrara could bring more users to 3DCoat and more professional use for Daz products.

Great work Stu! Love that glass buckethead and the brain slosh. :)

Re: Applink - There was guy that volunteered to do the APPLINK, but haven't heard from him since he volunteered. He mentioned he hadn't programmed for years, so maybe the bloom is off the rose bush, dunno.

Thank you folks!

I am in awe of people you who could make an Applink! I think you can either do it or you can't....just like music....thats a closed world to me as well!

I see you have already done a Blender Applink already! Maybe I should take another look at Blender!

Good work! It clearly shows the danger of concussion with the brain sloshing around in it's 'skull'.

Nice work and expressions. If my brain was in a jar I think I would request at least a double pane or something :)

My only suggestion would be to add a crack or scratch of some sort to show where the scientist got hit.

Originally I had the dome slightly tipped with fluid sputing out of the gap,but just couldnt get happy with it,so I cut it.I did consider a crack, but my brain was getting weary.May be I will revisit this one when I am feeling refreshed! If you look closely at the dome ,there are loads of little scratches...they took me absolutley ages to figure out,and its still not quite what I wanted.I get bored real quick these days

Hi Journeymen!

I contacted the guy that wanted to do it, but he is having some real life issues.

So, if you would look into doing an APPLINK for Carrara Pro, that would be super.

I'm not a programmer, so don't know anything to help with. :)

Thanks again for taking a look!

Thanks AR, One of the ideas that was swilling around my mostly empty brain was to do another fake comic cover! I did a couple a while back..( they are on my blog somewhere) It would have made a nice companion piece but it went towards a landscape format rather than portrait.Ive archived the the files now.....I consider that now "put to bed"....right...onto the next idea.....if I can think of something!
