LWRC SABR

I'm not a big gun person but I saw this on TV once and it looked so cool I had to model it. I've been procrastinating for years though as it's quite a challenge.

Nice start!

The Amo part details must have been tricky to do!

Thanks. Not really just a little time consuming. I just made the basic shape (cut from a cube shape and smoothed a few times). Then duplicated it. On the duplicated I cut out all the holes from the side view, then scaled down the original and merged them both together. The bottom part is a little bigger than the rest so I just selected that with Pose and scaled it up a bit.

Oh I see, that's probably a good alternative to boolean substract when you want to get a good definition on details.

I often get strange things with boolean when the model res is not high enough...

Keep on the good work!

Looking pretty decent. Lets see her finished up. :)

Off topic, the SABR is a cool weapon, big fan of 7.62. Though I personally prefer something more reliable, less jamming and of course, the ammunition weighs a whole lot less. P90 is my choice weapon, weighs a whole lot less and so do the rounds.
