philnolan3d
I'm not a big gun person but I saw this on TV once and it looked so cool I had to model it. I've been procrastinating for years though as it's quite a challenge. Main reference image:

philnolan3d
Thanks. Not really just a little time consuming. I just made the basic shape (cut from a cube shape and smoothed a few times). Then duplicated it. On the duplicated I cut out all the holes from the side view, then scaled down the original and merged them both together. The bottom part is a little bigger than the rest so I just selected that with Pose and scaled it up a bit.
Advanced Member Garagarape Posted May 24, 2012 Advanced Member Report Share Posted May 24, 2012 Oh I see, that's probably a good alternative to boolean substract when you want to get a good definition on details. I often get strange things with boolean when the model res is not high enough... Keep on the good work!
Javis
Looking pretty decent. Lets see her finished up. Off topic, the SABR is a cool weapon, big fan of 7.62. Though I personally prefer something more reliable, less jamming and of course, the ammunition weighs a whole lot less. P90 is my choice weapon, weighs a whole lot less and so do the rounds.
