Advanced Member L'Ancien Regime Posted April 5, 2016 Advanced Member Report Share Posted April 5, 2016 (edited) Lately I'm finding my 8 core Harpertown that's 6.5 years old with 64 gigs of ddr2 RAM just isn't cutting it in the render department. In fact maybe nothing I buy will. Even paying out $4000+ may not be enough for a rig that's really capable of doing big render scenes. The only way to keep up and to keep rendering costs down seems to be cloud rendering. I was just looking a this outfit; http://www.gridmarkets.com/ I'd be glad to hear from everyone else's experiences in this field. Contributor Michaelgdrs Posted April 5, 2016 Contributor Report Share Posted April 5, 2016 (edited) Here is a list of all render farm services. http://rentrender.com/all-render-farms-list/ Tried most of them , some are good some are really really bad. RR and Rebus were the ones i used the most. P.S For Houdini RevUp is nice too. Edited April 5, 2016 by Michaelgdrs
