Igor Sklyar demonstrates Disney's Principled BRDF extended to BSDF and BSSRDF for Mantra. It supports refraction and improved SSS.

I wish something like this was made available in H15.

This is awesome! This should have been included in H15. Any desire to let us play? :)

Thank you. Lets see what will be in H15 and maybe I will build the public version :)

H15 only has the BRDF, no subsurface/refraction built in. Although the principled shader is made up of almost all old nodes (physically based specular) it does have the new principled inline diffuse with sheen etc. But what you've got here looks quite nice! I think they were planning on releasing it for H16 but my feeling is if you're going to introduce a new shader, might as well have it cover as many materials as possible! :)

So there is a slight chance that we might get the pleasure of laying our hands on it. I'd love to see it on Orbolt, even as a paid asset.
