3d coat needs to add a tutorial section like zbrushs zclassroom. you need to lay out all the tools in videos. then more ppl will be able to do lot better work showing the incrediable power potential of 3d coat!! right now the 3d coat learn section is very pathetic. its sparse with outdated videos. very sad really. ive seebn some amazing stuff done with 3d coat probably done lot faster than zbrush, but i dont know where they got their 3d coat education! im dying for knowledge to learn how to make the things others have made in 3d coat. but i havnt seen very much of it on youtube. no good tutorials. just anouncements and speed drawing but no good tutorials. we need an education/learning/3d coat classroom!!!!

Forgot to add the Playlists (Categories) link:

There is a huge Youtube logo, online manual and PDF manual on the LEARN page. The videos on the page are just a few to access directly on that page. By the way, please define "outdated." If the tutorial shows how a tool works currently, then it doesn't matter if it is recent or a few years old.

um ya... tons and tons of old crappy tutorials. not good ones. and mostly speed sculpting which dont tell you how to use the tools.  usually old out of date. and the same on the 3d coat website. im talking a classroom type tutorial section as in zbrush zclassroom where they have tons of up to date, clear, step by step videos on the usage of every tool!! most if not all that stuff is the same out of date crap. it is 3 and 5 years old. 3d coat needs to be current if it is to be taken seriously!

well i guess basically the feature are there but not in the way id like. i like the zbrush approach where the tools are not already alongside the screen and the scrolling is a pain and should be removed permanatly. imho.. good luck improving 3d coat.

You can customize the UI almost anyway you want to. If you don't like the tools palette on the left side of the screen, then do what I did - hide it and use the spacebar menu instead. This saves you some horizontal screen space and allows for the tool palette to pop up right under your cursor.

Regarding the scrolling, I find your words ambiguous because it's unclear whether you complain on scrolling in ZBrush or 3D-Coat. If it's the latter, then what exactly is the problem? You didn't explain that. I personally find the scrolling in 3D-Coat, especially with Allow Inertia option turned on, to be fantastic and, whenever I have a pen in my hand, I constantly keep catching myself on subconsciously attempting to scroll various windows in the same - 3D-Coatish way - in other programs.
