Exporting a color layer as a .tif

Sorry I am new to coat but have used several other paint packages. I want to know if it is possible to export a color layer as a .tif. I am not getting the option in the drop down menu. Is there a patch to allow for this option? I don't want to have to export a psd then save the texture as a .tif. Any help would be great Thanks.

Hi Chris,

I tried that but there is no tif option in the drop down menu when I export the diffuse map. I was wondering if there was a plugin for coat or a preference setting I am supposed to set.

Thanks

Hello.

Just look at Textures->Export->Diffuse Map and choose the file format as soon as the file window appears.

Best wishes

Chris
