Advanced Member alvordr Posted January 20, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted January 20, 2013 Is there a Fill painted area or layer in the Paint room? If I want to change the specularity or color overall in a painted spot, i find it ranges from super easy to difficult. I know how to fill unfrozen. Contributor Tony Nemo Posted January 20, 2013 Contributor Report Share Posted January 20, 2013 Anytime I try to use the fill tool, the preview window is just a sliver that I can't drag open.
Contributor TimmyZDesign Posted January 21, 2013 Contributor Report Share Posted January 21, 2013 Freeze menu on top. Choose "Freeze painted pixels". Then press CTRL-SHIFT-I on keyboard (this will invert the Freeze). Then use fill tool. Choose Color Spec and Modulation preferences in Tool Options, and click on Layer button to fill entire layer. Use Material preview window to preview your fill before you commit. @Tony Nemo: You probably need to click on the little thumb tack icon on the Material preview window to open the window and make it sizeable.
