Summary0000428: No shadow casting in surface mode?
DescriptionIt was happening in the previews version too.
Now I thought it was working.
I did this as a test too:
merged a huge enough zb mesh 0000011:0000002 M (without voxelizing)
It was rendered fine, casted shadows on until I tried to work with LC tools on it. No shadows then.
I saved, rebooted but still nothing.
It's a major issue for me, a preview render is very important. Of low priority though.

I can reproduce it.
It's the LC tools. It doesn't happen at once, only after 5-10 strokes.
It doesn't happen just because beta tools are enabled. I could work for 10 mins without stretching but only when I tried an LC tool (creese) , shadow casting disappeared. It will come back if I drop it to voxels or after baking.
