All tools should be familiar if you are familiar with Photoshop tools. Using layers to create seamless textures of organic characters, mechanical objects, or landscape elements with a familiar brush-based interface. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With Painting Room, you can create multiple types of textures simultaneously: Diffuse\/Albedo Color, Glossiness\/Metalness, and Depth (which can be exported as Bump, Displacement, or Normal Maps). <br \/>Color layers can also be exported as other maps, including Vertex Weight Maps, Emissive\/Luminosity Maps, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whenever increased precision is required, use the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/3dcoat.com\/documentation\/manual\/brush-components\/strokes\/\">Stroke Mode<\/a>&nbsp;Spline and Line-based Brush tools. From this same Panel, utilize the Stamp tool to place repetitive Brush shapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maximizing productivity,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/3dcoat.com\/documentation\/manual\/brush-components\/smart-materials\/\">Smart Materials<\/a>&nbsp;composed of separate maps at Painting Room allows you to create PBR textures simultaneously. Click the \"Retopo\" tab at the top of the interface.\nGet the mesh from the Paint Room.\n    Go to the Mesh menu at the top.\n    Select Copy Mesh from the Painting room. This will copy the object from the Paint Room into the Retopo workspace.\nPerform the triangulation.\n    In the Mesh menu (which appears near the top of the screen when in the Retopo room), click Apply Triangulation.\n    The software will then convert all visible quad polygons on the retopo mesh into triangles.\nTransfer the changes back to the Paint Room.\n    Go to the Bake menu.\n    Choose an option to bake the new, triangulated mesh to the Paint Room. A common option is to use Bake with Normal Map if you have sculpted high-resolution details you want to transfer.
