This option reverts the currently selected curve profile back to the default tube shape.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Flip:<\/strong> Flip model used as spline profile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reset Scale:<\/strong> Reset the scale of the active curve.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reset Angles:<\/strong> Reset the rotation of the active curve.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hardness:<\/strong> This button toggles whether the curve of the spline is softened from point to point.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Closed:<\/strong> When enabled, this button automatically closes the spline between the first and last points. The starting point is flattened.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Back Arrow:<\/strong> This profile applies an arrowhead pointing to the first spline point. The ending point is flattened.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Double Arrow:<\/strong> This profile applies an arrowhead pointing to the start and end points of the spline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Spike:<\/strong> This profile tapers the entire spline toward the end point. The start point is flattened.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Spike Back:<\/strong> This profile tapers the entire spline from the start point. The end point is flattened.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Worm:<\/strong> This profile tapers the entire spline at both ends, leaving the relative center of the spline length at its original thickness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Muscle 1:<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Muscle 2:<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tendon:<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"392\" height=\"163\" src=\"https:\/\/3dcoat.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/image-252.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14780\" srcset=\"https:\/\/3dcoat.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/image-252.png 392w, https:\/\/3dcoat.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/image-252-300x125.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 392px) 100vw, 392px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Profile Scale:<\/strong> This slider adjusts the profile treatment applied to a spline. Arrowheads are lengthened or shortened, tapers are flattened, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add Scale: <\/strong>Use this slider to adjust the scale of the entire curve profile. Only the object around the spline is adjusted, not the size of the spline itself.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add Rotation: <\/strong>This slider rotates the spline along its long axis. Use it to adjust the orientation of things like chains or wire, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Transform Whole Curve: <\/strong>Apply rotation\/scale\/transform to the entire curve. When it is enabled, this toggle allows the entire curve profile to be modified. Otherwise, only the profile adjacent to the selected point is modified.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Position: <\/strong>Position on X, Y,Z, coords of the Global Space<strong><br \/>Reset Axis:<\/strong> Reset the point axis<strong> <br \/>Align to View:<\/strong> Align to current viewport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"text\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Text<a href=\"https:\/\/3dcoat.com\/dokuwiki\/doku.php?id=general:sculpt_workspace:surface_mode:curves_tools_2021#text\"><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Draw text in volume. It has a few unique features:<br \/>You can select a font for your text, you can, of course, type in the text you would like to make volumetric, and you can adjust the thickness of this volumetric text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"vox_layer\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vox Layer<a href=\"https:\/\/3dcoat.com\/dokuwiki\/doku.php?id=general:sculpt_workspace:surface_mode:curves_tools_2021#vox_layer\"><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Create a thin layer around the frozen area of the current volume. Paint with the freeze to mark the area and press Apply afterward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"coat\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Coat<a href=\"https:\/\/3dcoat.com\/dokuwiki\/doku.php?id=general:sculpt_workspace:surface_mode:curves_tools_2021#coat\"><\/a> (available on Surface mode)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This tool allows to add coating over the layer in non-destructive way. After appearing Tool Options dialog, you need to select profile-curve.
