  1. Juan, do you know that you was the first who have purchased 3D-Brush? It was month ago. It was good beginning. Today already 80 peoples have purchased 3DB. I think you also have a good contribution in it. Thank you! It will allow us to develop 3DB more and more.

  3. 1) about export: 3DB can export color/transparency/displacement/normalmap/mesh(obj,LWO) The exported mesh could be low - poly (like input mesh), middle poly (working carcass mesh - 40-80 k poly, for render it is better to use this mesh) or highpoly (actual mesh resolution). If you use LWO export then mesh will be exported with ready nedes structure for normal maps. 3DB can/t export morphs/animations, now 3DB is only for detalisation/sculpting. 2) About tutorials. We plan to make some tutorials. I think we will do it, but now the main progress if feature grow. I know, tutorials is something that is really important and one guy from our team will start making it in few days. If someone can help, please help.
  4. Today is last day of discount sales. I really thank to all who has supported the 3D-Brush development by purchasing it. I glad to tell you that we have sold 70 copies for 70$ until this moment. I think that it is good result for program that was promoted without any kind of expensive advertising. We will not grow the price much but we will grow the functionality much. We plan to grow price very slowly. We want that 3D-Brush should become cheap but very powerful tool. I try to be friend for everyone who uses 3D-Brush. I answer every letter to be closer to you. The october was not easy to me, there was many different hot discussions, many hard work. But I think it is good beginning. Thank you very, very much for support! I have a favour to ask of you. You know that many depends on what customers tell about the program they have purchased. I want to open section like "Customers testimonies".   5. What kind of hardware do you have? The most important thing is video card. Please tell me, may be I will upload some version of shaders with lower requiremens. (But it is not immediately because now I have seceral urgent issues to do - for example to upload the release 2.01 today ) The millions of polygons is only imaginary thing. The mesh that you see on screen is usually 30000-80000 polygons. All "millions" of polygons are "built-in" normalmap. So there is no difference int speed betweeen 300000 polygons or 100000 oilygons during the loading. But anyway you can specify the lower amount of polygons - just click on bar with number and set 0.1 for example. But I have idea - I can reduce the poly count on screen adding the slider "Visible count of polygons" which is usually 40000. I think I will add it soon.
  6. I think you have already found the File->Save low poly mesh - it is about LWO export About 2D - editor - you can use GIMP for example. Another alternative - Deep Painter (http://www.download.com/Deep-Paint/3000-2191_4-10398243.html) Both of them are free and supporst PSD files. Deepp painter seems to be slightly better, but it has one inconviniece - you should specify the path to file not automatically but by arms.
  7. The next export/import update. Now 3D-Brush exports LWo files with normalmap and creates corresponding nodes structure. In the case of exporting hippo made from sphere it is better to export mid poly mesh. Also some important bugs was fixed (thank to Dodgy). Also you can hide surface parts in hide face mode simply by double click. Another important improvement is done - if you will import mesh without smoothing you will be able to export correct normalmap.   9. Thank you! If you have paid via wire transfer it usually takes several days until we will get the report. So you could simply write us a letter with hardware ID and I will send a serial to you. Also I have one question - can I use your message for our website?

You can download beta 2.01H with LWO export support there: www.3d-brush.com/files/3d-brush-2-01H-en.exe changes: 1) LWO export 2) many, many bags of LWO import fixed 3) curves bugs fixed (CTRL-enter worked incorrect) 4) very many small but bad bugs was fixed. Please backup working 3B files, because there was many changes with save/load of mesh. I have checked as careful as possible, but... it is beta. The release will be at November 5. Please write me about any export/import problems there.

  18. Сейчас английская версия обновляется быстрее (уже 2.01G), потому что спрос большой (англ. версию покупают как колбасу в годы советской власти). Русские молчат, поэтому и обновления медленнее. Я имею в виду активность на форуме. Просто тексты даже перевести новые времени не хватает настолько фич-реквестами закидали. Ежели кто хочет заниматься обновлением русских текстов - готов дать бесплатную лицензию.
  19. В скульптурном режиме такая штука есть. (начиная с 2.00) Скульпт режим -> F1 и мы там где надо. Но вот в стандартном режиме рисования такого нету. Можно добавить.
