  2. 3DCoat-2021-54 - Add materials folder improved again, now it got dialog where you may set the own wildcards to recognize the texture layers.
  3. You had two copies of the same model, but with two vastly different UV sets applied to each. Is there a way in which 3DCoat could look at this model with this texture and then use that information to paint the second model and its UV set to look as identical as possible to the first ? This videos covers one easy method in 3DCoat, to modify a model's UV's after doing some texture painting work... without any penalty.

  8. 3DCoat-2021-53 Tue Sep 21 21:36:32 2021 - Hint for the "Add existing materials folder" extended a lot, explains how to differ the channels, and is now different from other commands like "Add existing folder". - Smart Materials->Add Existing Folder completely rewritten. Now it takes into account all types of maps, all imaginable textures names aliases, recovers displacement from the normal map (if no native displacement found), assigns cube-mapping and generates the preview. If there are images without alias at the end they will be treated as flat color maps. - Fixed PSD link problem: with several (not all) blending modes the opacity of the layer resets to 100% after getting the image from Photoshop. If any map is named with a space in the name, the texture is assigned as new Smart Material.

  15. Sorry., i am following your steps but cant replicate bandicam 2021-09-20 10-42-06-494.mp4 Steps: Select Smart Retopo Select Loft Mode Click+hold outside model in empty space, drag across model to empty space, release click No edge loop appears on the model
